HostCo manages stunning heritage function venues within University of Sydney.

There are very few Sydney wedding venues that has the grandeur and character as University of Sydney (USYD) wedding receptions that are held within it’s gorgeous manicured grounds, Quadrangle of sandstone buildings and heritage reception venues.

The two main wedding ballrooms are The Great Hall, The Refectory and Maclaurin Hall that looks the part of the movie set for Harry Potter and a medieval era – so perfect for grand and luxurious weddings, it’s certainly one of our favourites Sydney reception venues to work within. Have a look at the photos and you’ll understand!

Typically when you book your wedding reception at USYD we recommend our partner HostCo Wedding because they’re one of Sydney’s best wedding caterers around! I’d work with their wedding event coordinators and inhouse wedding planners to design your wedding and create an incredibly earthy wedding decorations brief, or a wedding styling that is rustic, even a luxurious wedding.

What are the things I love about HostCo?
They have stunning venues that are unique and steep with heritage.

HostCo offers boutique catering and venues nestled in picturesque gardens so there’s options for holding your ceremony on site, or perhaps pre-dinner waiting area amongst the heritage architecture of University of Sydney. There aren’t many locations in Sydney that has grand history that you can host an event in so it’s definitely one of my most favourites.

One of the best things with having HostCo is their team of wonderful coordinators look after all the paperwork, coordination and planning of your event, and because they’re event caterers as well, they provide all the cutlery, plateware, and glassware required.
