This Miramare Gardens wedding is a classic combination of white, peach and cream tones, with gold chic ascents. It’s a great colour palette as it is soft and delicate like the fabric of Pamela and Matt’s love. We filled this room with the fragrant scent of flowers and tall glass pillar scented candles to make this wedding as elegant as possible for this beautiful bride and groom.
When using lighter shades with styling a wedding reception, we often go for different elements of texture to make the centrepieces and backdrops stand out. For these arrangements, beautiful white roses and orchids as well as peachy orchids, and creamy and wispy foliage.
It’s all in the finer details. These gorgeous phalaenopsis orchids looked so pretty when we were placing them into the arrangements, so we decided to also have them hanging individually from the tall crystal pillar candles as well. It is one of our favourite flowers to work with.
We wanted everything to look soft, yet full bodied so it was a process of layering all these elements to make each arrangement look fluffy. We went really extra with the arrangements along the floor by the king tables and plenty of candles to create that warm ambient lighting.
Just have a look at how stunning this 8-tier wedding cake is Cake Me Pretty. It fits perfectly to the theme with gold foil embellishments and framed in beautiful white roses.
To achieve this look we started with black silk draped around the room and layered with thousands of metres of lights. Each strand and fairy light line needing to be unwound while avoiding the nightmare scenario of tangling them like overcooked noodles mashed together into a paste.
