Ever walked into a place, looked around with your jaw dropped and thought, “Oh my gosh!”? This was exactly the reaction we were going for when we wedding styled Natasha and Paul’s wedding at the Lemnos Club, and we certainly didn’t disappoint the beautiful bride who wasn’t short of any wow’s as she entered the reception venue. The concept for this wedding design was opulent and over-the-top with lots of fresh roses and stunning chandeliers.
As soon as you walk into the Lemnos Club, all you see is rows and rows of fresh wedding flowers, big bursting bouquets of white, quicksand, latte, blush and peachy roses and orchids. You can see from our various wedding designs that there are many ways you can style an arrangement, whether you want more fillers and greenery showing, or fuller floral ones like these that make a stronger visual impact and keep to a colour theme.
Creams and beiges amplified the aureate lighting with warm golden tones bouncing around the room from dim candlelights and gorgeous crystal chandeliers from the breathtaking ceiling installation. Antique and empire chandeliers suspend elegantly over the dancefloor among cascading white stock flowers wrapped in the venue’s own spectacular crystal feature. It was the perfect set up for the bride and groom’s first dance.
While the big visual impression is striking, all the little details also add to the grand elegance of the overall design. There were many gold finishings that gave the evening an extra magical touch; gold tiffany chairs, gold candelabras, gold bouquet stands, gold plates and cutlery. Dripping of luxury!
One of our other favourite features of this wedding is the personalised cotton paper letterpress metallic gold handwritten names for each guest. This minute detailing can make a massive impact and make guests feel extra special at the wedding. Letterpress wedding invitations, menus and names are a delicate and sophisticated addition to consider on your wedding day.
In a large wedding reception like this one, all the elements come together to bring in closeness and intimacy among guests. We are so ecstatic that we were able to bring Natasha and Paul’s vision to life and make their night unforgettable.
