Designing Daniela and Steven’s wedding was a visual delight for us as we worked to complement the rich black and gold interior of Doltone House Hyde Park. With a wedding venue that already has such bold and compelling features, our objective was to not over clutter and rather highlight visual elements of the space, so our wedding styling design had to be not too over the top.
One of our favourite features of this wedding venue is the gorgeous arched windows overlooking the beautiful view of Hyde Park. Roundness seemed to be the main interior design feature of this space, like its bespoke arch printed carpet, oval tables and round patterned chairs, so we had to keep it simple and classy with other elements.
Classic and traditional wedding florals and decorations trickle elegance into this amazing reception venue. Bursts of soft floral bouquets arrangements of fresh white roses and phalaenopsis orchids made up the bright table centrepieces, with gorgeous hanging crystal ball bauble candle holders that created a romantic ambience.
Doltone House Hyde Park has such an amazing wide and open dancefloor space, and beautiful existing crystal chandeliers which we wanted to work with. Decorating the space above the bridal table is one way to ensure all the attention is on the most important people of the event, the bride and groom, making it the pièce de résistance of the night.
Cascading crystals as dazzling ceiling installations from the sides of the black dancefloor perfectly frame the bridal table area and draw attention to the glamorous vintage gold and crystal chandeliers overhead. We cannot state how much we love these chandeliers, they are so aesthetically pleasing and radiate of warm golden light that makes the entire room sparkle.
All the brightness of the fresh white flowers and bright crystals lightened up the space that would otherwise be quite dark and moody due to the black chic interior design of Doltone House.
