We often style enchanted garden type wedding designs, but never anything to this calibre and especially having to chair their wedding venue the day before!. Christine and Pierre asked us to turn it up a notch and immerse their guests into a mystical forest, which really ignited our creative passion and genius. We wanted to convince guests that they were in a land so magical they might even begin seeing fairies and unicorns.
This concept of this wedding styling involved the complete transformation of the Lemnos Club at Clarence House into a mesmerising forest.
What’s in a forest? Trees, of course! We brought in luscious tree installations with hanging crystal bauble tea lights right to the centre of the space. Nothing sets up a forest better than sitting beneath the tickle of overhanging foliage and nothing more romantic than the glimmer of dim candlelight.
Creating a sense of mystique and wonderment was one of our major objectives, and lighting played an essential role in setting this atmosphere. The team at Showtime Productions made such a stunning visual impact with beautiful purple neons and contrasting oranges that made the event space feel spectacularly magical.
Let’s talk about this stunning ceiling installation with sparkling teardrop fairy lights reminiscent of tree sap and sweet honey droplets. This is a great example of how different types of fairy lights can completely alter the ambience of an entire space. These fairy lights twinkle like starlight in the magical night sky.
The Lemnos Club is such an expansive wedding venue that allowed us to be creative with many details. One of our favourite features is this enormous rectangular floral wedding arch which also doubled as two table centrepieces. It was sprouting with beautiful fresh roses and a stunning crystal chandelier in the middle that shone bright light onto the bride and groom as they made their grand entry.
Keeping to the tree theme, the fresh floral bouquets for the wedding table centrepieces were also messy and unkempt unlike our usual cleaner designs. We wove more of the teardrop fairy lights through the star light centrepieces on alternating king tables for that extra touch of magic!
