Carly and William wanted to be wedded in a white wonderland among tall and frosty florals adorned by crystal chandeliers and glimmering candlelight. We brought this dream to life with the contrast of white among the black backdrop of Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf.
It’s no wonder that white is the symbol for weddings, we love how it embodies the purity and innocence of love. White can also be very elegant and in this context enhances the beauty and interior of this gorgeous venue. We decided to go big and bold with these centrepieces to make a grand visual statement.
We love the black and white palette of this room at Doltone House, and we knew it would really make the white centrepieces we created stand out. We added some dimension and texture to each piece so that it wouldn’t look flat, using a combination of roses, orchids, other white florals and foliage. The white ferns add a softness to the overall look of the centrepieces raised on tall crystal stands.
King tables can make a wedding reception venue venue even more elegant and spectacular so it’s definitely one of our favourite wedding seating layouts, actually for any event!! Especially when you look up and see these magnificent crystal chandeliers glistening from the ceiling. With so much whiteness, we needed to add some warmth in the room using dim candlelight from our favourite crystal candelabras and candles along the bridal table.
With designing the bridal table we thought to bring in a sense of consistency so created larger versions of the table centrepieces and placed them as the bridal table backdrop. This extra element can really tie in the overall theme of the wedding day and is something you should consider.
