Breanna and Stefan dreamed of having an ethereal wedding at the luxurious Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf. We styled their wedding with light and feathery floral arrangements and filled the room with romantic soft candle lights. This is one of favourite wedding venues to style because the dark interior really helps us create beautiful contrasts and starry night scenes.
The entire space was a visual delight with these big pillowy cotton ball looking ceiling installations that are stunning with fresh white roses, phalaenopsis orchids and baby’s breath. Baby’s breath is one of the most understated wedding flowers that we absolutely adore as they bring such a freshness and lightness to bouquet arrangements.
We love all the added textures we created using fluffy and creamy dry pampas grass, white preserved bamboo ruscus, and bleached amaranthus that gave it a full bodied look. Creamy tones helped to soften the appearance without the whiteness being too dominant. The addition of fairy lights to the ceiling installation gives this wedding design that extra magical touch.
Candlelight is one sure way to create romance and intimacy in a wedding space. We love using our crystal globe tealight holders as table centrepieces. You can see amidst the black backdrop of Doltone House that they look like tiny glistening specks of stars.
Lighting can really alter the ambience of a space, that’s why we love bringing in gorgeous chandeliers like these large crystal ones. Luxury is what you want when creating magical wedding designs like this.
