Here’s to celebrating love in the time of COVID. Belinda and Ken weren’t going to let a global pandemic stop them from tying the knot, so they invited us into their beautiful spacious home to style their spiral stairway with an abundance of fresh blooming wedding flowers.
Keeping well below the ten person restriction of the time, we set up a cosy and intimate round table for 8 guests, framed in the centre of the stairway right beneath the light. Looking down was just a stunning sight with all the beautiful florals bursting from the table and staircase, very Romeo and Juliet with the stone brick looking walls in the backdrop.
This is so different to what we usually get to do, but it’s a great way to showcase the many types of events our team can help you style, even in your own home. It was truly an honour and privilege to be part of such an important event for Belinda and Ken. We hope our special touch made having to forsake a traditional wedding reception an even more memorable experience.
We imagined it, but the final product was even more captivating. Soft, delicate white and pink roses with hints of foliage cascading down the rails of this magnificent spiral staircase, warmed by a dim runner of candlelight that created such a romantic and intimate atmosphere.
Centering the room is an immense fresh floral bouquet centrepiece that really commands attention. This fresh wedding flower combination of light pink and white roses, phalaenopsis orchids and jasmine droplets filled the room with a fragrant aroma. Feathery dry leaves flow down the centrepiece airing of softness and elegance.
All the little details of this wedding make it luxury within a home environment; lacey tablecloth, golden cutlery, crystal candle stands, and white plush round bent chairs. Yet, it’s still perfectly homely and sentimental with family portraits lining the back wall. We love it!
